Governance

There are two main bodies for the governance of the RADIAN ecosystem: RADIAN Labs and RADIAN DAO.

RADIAN Labs is the company that maintains and develop the RADIAN ecosystem. It is responsible for the tech development, business development, marketing, and operation of the RADIAN infrastructure. It also executes the proposals made by the RADIAN DAO. RADIAN Labs is set up for fast and prompt decision-making, especially on daily operational decisions that are too trivial to be decided through majority voting.

RADIAN DAO is the democratic governance body of the RADIAN ecosystem. It decides the roadmap of RADIAN through voting. Any fundamental changes to RADIAN should be a collective decision of all RADIAN stakeholders rather than that of the RADIAN Labs. The RADIAN DAO is able to make decisions on whether the RADIAN Labs should continue to exist, thus serving as the ultimate governing body of RADIAN.

At inception, the RADIAN Labs will be automatically allocated 20% of RADIAN's income while the RADIAN DAO will get the remaining 80%.
