Universal Decentralised Identity

Web3 Passport is a Decentralised Identity that allows users to bind wallet address(es) from multiple blockchains to a single identity so that your on-chain presence can be aggregated.

The passport allows others to know who they are interacting with in dApps.

A user may create a passport by adding social information such as personal photos, personal information, NFTs, Audio, and so on. They can also bind their wallet address(es) across different blockchains to the passport. This becomes a Web3 Identity that owns by the user and allows others to view the user as a person, rather than a wallet address.

Anonymous Web3 Identity

Some of the time, you may want to browse the internet anonymously. On Web3, you are also allowed to do so. Simply by creating a Passport with your wallet address(es) without adding any personal information, it will become your anonymous Web3 identity, allowing you to explore all web3 dApps according to your personal purposes and preferences.

Content and Connections on Layer3 DID

Web3 creates flexibility and interoperability. Decentralized Content and Decentralized Connection are owned by users and become personal assets.

When a user onboards a dApp, a Profile (Layer3 DID) will be created. Connections and Content will be bounded to the Profile. As the address holding the Profile is also bonded to a Passport, others can dig out your posts by search for your passport identity. The Profile as well as all Post NFTs created from it can be monetized.
